HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYS!

As you can see by the ticker.....We are 2! What a milestone and it has been a busy two years. We are so blessed and thankful of how well our boys are doing and enjoy watching them grow and learn everyday.

We did have a Wow Wow birthday party for them on Saturday. I will post more on that later. Still recovering from all the food, cake and the 30+ people who came to wish the boys a happy birthday. Here's a peek of the cake I made for them:

To Carter and Riley - Happy Birthday and we look forward to many more wonderful days ahead! Love Mom and Dad.

San Antonio Stroll

Tower of the Americas

Don't you just love San Antonio. So much history to see and you can't visit without seeing the ALAMO! Kevin and I were able to get away for 5 days earlier this month and it was nice to get away. Thank you to all of our family and nurses that helped out with the boys to allow us to get away. A special thanks to my mom for staying here with the boys all week!

We enjoyed San Antonio and the riverwalk for a few days. This was only our second time away from the boys and the first time we were gone longer than 24 hrs. They were not too happy the first couple of days since we were gone but enjoyed having their Nana and Granny dote on them.

We ate a lot of good food and enjoyed sleeping in. We always visit our favorite eating place, Mi Tierra's and we also went up to the top of the Tower of the Americas and had a nice dinner. It was neat to sit atop of the tower as it rotated around the city while we ate. What a nice time we had. The Riverwalk was not too crowded since we went during the week and we got to enjoy walking around seeing all the stuff that has been added since we were there last. I did manage to squeeze in a much needed swedish massage! Oh it was wonderful!

We ended our trip in Fredericksburg and walked around to the shopping district and ate more food! After walking around the riverwalk we did not do much shopping but did enjoy some wine tasting and a visit to the Fredericksburg brewery. It was nice to be able to sit and eat without having to corral two little toddlers but we sure missed them.

Thanks to all that helped out so we could get away, get refreshed and get some much needed sleep. Thanks Mom - I love you!
